The UW School of Nursing has been educating generations of nurses since we offered our first bachelor of science in nursing degree in 1923. Our alumni have gone onto become leaders in public policy, visionaries in scientific research, faculty members at top-institutions and expert partners in healthcare teams. We are proud of our #HuskyNurse alumni who are making a difference in people’s lives every day.

Attend a School of Nursing event
Throughout the year, we host events and activities to bring our alumni together – either virtually or in-person – to reconnect and be inspired by our current nursing students. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events. Learn more.
- Nursing Dawg Tank: Nurse researchers will make their “pitch” for the next big idea in nursing that will improve health outcomes and change lives. Then, YOU help to choose one project that will receive a $15,000 research award. Learn more
