Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Join us for our DNP information sessions to learn about the UW School of Nursing's application process for the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree program.  This year we are trying something new in order to ensure that when you submit your application you are confident that you have submitted a competitive and complete application.

The new format of our DNP information sessions will provide students with the opportunity to get an overview of the application, as well more detailed information on how to make their resume, application essays and letters or recommendation competitive.

Each info session will contain the following information:

  • September 18: Provides a general overview of the entire application, while also offering some helpful tips. If you cannot attend in-person, the online information session covers the same information.
  • October 23: An interactive workshop focusing on the letters of recommendation and resume. We recommend bringing a current resume.
  • November 20: An interactive workshop focusing on the application essays. We recommend bringing drafts of each essay.
  • December 18: Provide a general overview of the entire application. We suggest attending the final information session to ensure that the application is complete and ready to be turned in.
