Clinical Site Faculty Liaisons

Faculty liaisons to clinical sites represent the UW School of Nursing to a specific external partner, serving as the single point of contact for the partner’s designated representative. Their role includes:

  • Maintaining high-level contact with partner's designated representative
  • Attending up to one meeting per quarter
  • Serving as resource person, communicator, and coordinator regarding partner requirements, channeling all requests for course and clinical placements to the partner and triaging questions to:
    • School of Nursing Administrative Points of Contact
    • Graduate Student Placement Coordinators,
    • The Director of Student Services
    • Department Chairs and Vice Chairs
    • Course Coordinators, Clinical Instructors, and Faculty Clinical Advisors
