About the MS

As a student in the MS program, you will complete study through the Clinical Informatics and Patient-Centered Technologies (CIPCT) specialty. The CIPCT Master of Science specialty provides graduate-level training to health professionals, teaching them to understand, design, develop, and evaluate the use of informatics applications in advanced patient care.

For the Master of Science, students are expected to complete either a thesis that advances knowledge in nursing science or a scholarly project that may address program needs, issues of quality assurance, policy analysis, or clinical problem analysis.
