Organizational Development/Human Resources


The Organizational Development/Human Resources (OD/HR) team serves as the central resource for organizational development and human resources oversight and operations in alignment with the School of Nursing’s strategic goals, values and mission.

We provide comprehensive and confidential HR support to individuals, units, departments and school leadership.  Our services include assistance, counsel and support for all employment processes, including recruitment, hiring, retention, onboarding, and exit strategies. We also offer best practices for compensation discussions, performance management, faculty and staff development, compliance, conflict resolution, and recognition.

We strive to communicate proactively, finding answers and ways to meet needs. We aim to provide fast turnaround, be accessible, available and open. The OD/HR team focuses on process improvement and standardization.  The team remains impartial, acting in the best interest of the School as a whole, while supporting individuals, departments and units with a goal of equity and fairness for all. We work to model and provide HR and OD expertise based on internal and external best practices and to perform as trusted colleagues.
