How to Apply

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for UW Nurse Camp if you:

  • are a U.S. Citizen or hold a Permanent Resident Visa
  • will be 16 years of age by the first day of Nurse Camp (July 15, 2013)
  • will have completed your sophomore or junior year of high school by Summer 2013
  • demonstrate an interest in nursing
  • come from a disadvantages background (economic, geographic, education)
  • are underrepresented in nursing

How to Apply

If you meet the above requirements, download and submit the following forms no later than April 15, 2013:

  1. E-mail the completed Nurse Camp application form as an attachment to sonas@uw.edu
  2. Mail hard copies of all application materials to:
      Nurse Camp
      University of Washington School of Nursing
      Academic Services
      Box 357260
      Seattle, WA 98195-7260

If accepted to the program, you must provide:

  • proof of immunizations
  • health insurance
  • copy of ID card (if permanent resident)
  • additional admissions forms
